Applicable: Circuit boards, frequency converters, light curtains, IC devices, energy feedback devices, automatic rescue devices, door machines and controllers, weighing devices, buttons, switches and other electrical components, as well as steel belts, polyurethane buffers, compensation chains/ropes and other components containing non-metallic materials such as rubber, plastic, and polyurethane.
Test purpose: To determine the impact of a high-humidity environment with constant temperature and no condensation within a specified time on the test samples; to determine the adaptability of the product when used, transported and stored under the conditions of a combination of high humidity and temperature cycling changes, and usually condensation will occur on the surface of the test samples.
Test basis: GB/T 2423.3-2016 "Environmental Testing - Part 2: Test Methods - Test Cab: Constant Humidity and Heat Test", GB/T 2423.4-2008 "Environmental Testing for Electric and Electronic Products - Part 2: Test Methods - Test Db: Alternating Temperature and Humidity (12h + 12h Cycle)" and so on.
Recommended temperature and humidity in national standards:
Constant humidity and heat: 30°C + 93%, 30°C + 85%, 40°C + 93%, 40°C + 85%.
Alternating humidity and heat: 25°C to 40°C + high humidity, 25°C to 55°C + high humidity.
Recommended test cycle in national standards:
Constant humidity and heat: 12h, 16h, 24h and 2d, 4d, 10d, 21d or 56d.
