Elevator type test refers to the technical data review and safety performance test carried out by the approved inspection institution (hereinafter referred to as the type test institution) undertaking the type test work according to the provisions of these rules to verify whether the product complies with the safety and technical specifications, so as to verify its safety and reliability on the basis of the comprehensive test and verification of the product by the manufacturing unit.
